The Pro Tracking System

The Pro Tracking System is simple. There are only a few people associated with any race horse who really know how well it is going. They know how fit the horse is going to be on race day, if the horse has been prepared for a race, going, right distance, track, jockey and so on.

This system is used by professionals who use it for serious betting,  it is a system that may require some patience.  It all depends on the number of race horses you are using.

The Pro Tracker System involves you selecting , say, 10 horses using the following criteria:

A     Only select horses that are resuming or have not won a race this season.

B     Only select horses that are 3 years or older but no older than 5 years old.

C     Only select quality horses that have had 10 career starts or more and have a winning percentage of  20 percent or more.  Select only horses that are trained in top stables who have a high winning percentage.

D      Decide how much money you want to win on each selection.

If you want to win say £100.00 per horse,  eg. If a horse you have selected starts at 4/1 and you want to win £100.00,  you have to put £25.00 on it to win that amount.  If the horse wins, you collect what you wanted to win and you then take the horse off the list. It has done its job.

If the horse loses,  it now owes you a total of £125.00.  (£100.00 you want to win plus £25.00 you lost on bets)  At its next start, it may start at 25/10, you then have to put £50.00 on it to to win your £125.00.  If it loses, it now owes you a total of £175.00.

E    After it wins you may then add another horse to your list so your list number stays constant. The knack to this system is to select quality horses, remember only a few  of the horses closest connections know what race they are aiming the horse for,  how fit it is and when it is likely to win.

How many times have you seen quality race horses win at their first or second outing at odds of 10/1 or more.  The reason being is that most times these quality horses come to their peak and often find form quickly and surprise.

Most amateur  punters are a little in the dark when it comes to some of these things,  so if you back it every time to come out in front when it wins, you all end up winners.

F    If any of your selections gets injured, goes for a spell prior to winning or something else you didn't foresee, you may take the horse off the list and select another horse to take its place.

Any outstanding lost bets on the horse that is taken from your list are of course placed on to the new horse to carry.

Tipsters Tips System

This easy to use system will enable you to pinpoint a high percentage of winners in just a few minutes per day and can be used on both turf and all weather racing.

Best results have been on handicap races.

Use the Racing Post Newspaper.

For each meeting there is a selection box indicating the selections of 16 racing tipsters.

Only consider horses that have been selected by at least 10 of these tipsters.

Of these horses selected by the tipsters only consider horses that are rated top on Topspeed Ratings and on Postmark Ratings. They must be top rated for both of these rather than one or the other. (Note You may get a situation where either Topspeed or Postmark make 2 or more horses joint top rated).

You only consider the joint top rated that are selected by Topspeed or Postmark. When looking at the actual ratings for each horse you may find that some of them are joint top rated. You can easily decide which of the joint top rated are selected by Topspeed or Postmark by looking at the selection box where the main selection for Topspeed or Postmark is given (even when the ratings indicate a joint top rated).

From the remaining selections you now only consider those horses that finished 1st 2nd 3rd in its last race which must have taken within the current season.

Any horse that remains is a Safe System selection.

Please note

Both Topspeed and Postmark are listed in the selection box in the Racing Post. These are taken into account when counting the number of tipsters who have selected a horse. For example if a horse is selected by 10 tipsters and 2 of these 10 are Topspeed and Postmark that is ok.

But, If a horse is selected by 11 tipsters but not by neither Topspeed or Postmark then it does not Qualify as a bet. Firstly make sure that ten tipsters have gone for a horse before checking to see if Topspeed or Postmark have selected it.

Additional Selections

You may find a horse that qualifies under the above criteria, but if its last race was the previous year. Generally speaking these are not Safe System bets: however you can make an exception if the horse has run within the last 30 days in a different type of race.

For example if a horse matches all other criteria but  has not had a current season run over fences but within the last 30 days has run on the flat then this would be a system bet, providing it finished 1st 2nd or 3rd.

  The Top Weight System

The Top Weight System is designed to be used on handicap races only, but works perfectly well on flat racing or National hunt, so you can enjoy this method of selecting horses throughout the racing calendar.

Using this system is simplicity itself, the system makes a range of assumptions based on the fact that the handicapper is going to place the top weight on the best horse in the race, and the better the horse the heavier the handicap.

But obviously blindly backing the top weighted horse in every race is going to lose you money, the top weight system aims to identify those top weighted horses most likely to win.

First log in or enter the bookies website and examine the days racecards.

  • Make a note of every handicap race.

  • Make a note of the weight the top weighted horse is carrying.

  • Make a note of the weight the second top weighted horse is carrying.

  • Subtract the second top weight from the top weight and note the difference.

  • Repeat this excercise for every handicap race of the day.

Your selection is going to be the top weighted horse carrying the widest margin of weight over the second top weighted horse in the same race.

Bet to Win, unless the price is better than 5/1 in which case you can bet each way.

4 STAR System

The beauty of the 4 STAR system is that it is very simple When a horse meets all 4 selection criteria on which 4 STARS is based, it  represents a very good bet.

Following the selection criteria of 4 STAR and you should achieve equal or better results without spending hours studying form.

You will need copy of the Daily Mail

Here are the 4 STAR selection rules

  • The horse must be rated 78 or above in the Daily Mail

  • It must have won, or been placed 2nd or 3rd last time out

  • It must be running within 4 days of its last run.

  • It must be favourite.

Your selection MUST meet all of the 4 Star rules, using these and only these 4 Stars should give you a consistent run of winners.

Top Three System

In the top three system we are seeking to benefit from the long prices offered by bookmakers on open races, that is, races with no strongly fancied favourite.

First select from your racecard or newspaper a race for three year olds or older with 8 - 12 runners, choose only Group races or Handicaps on the turf only (results on the All Weather are notoriously inconsistent).

The favourite in your selected race must be 3/1 or longer. You place win bets on the top three rated horses in the betting forecast. Stake your bets equally ie, 1 point each horse.

This system has shown pretty good returns recently but doesn't work as well on the following, these are races to avoid: National Hunt, Hurdles and Allweather.

Good luck

Top Three Perm

An extension of the Top three system, the top three perm system perms a number races featuring your three selections each depending on how many races fall into your race selection criteria.

Thus in 2 races you could have 9 doubles or in 3 races you could have 27 doubles and 27 trebles.

The Trainers Wife

This contribution seems rather cynical but we're assured it yields occasional big wins. Choose a flat race with a field of 12 or less runners, avoiding: Sellers, two year olds, Allweather tracks and Group races.

You examine the racecard for such a race were one of the horses is owned by the trainer or his family, your selection must have run within the past 21 days.

If your selection is the only horse with the same trainer at this meeting then you might choose to raise your stake

Good Luck !!

Super 6 System for the big handicap chases

Look at the Racing Post.
Find the list of best jockeys at that course.
Look at the top 6 in the list.
Find the two allocated the lowest weights in the handicap.
These are the two selections for the race.

I have adopted two strategies over the years. One is to back both at level stakes to win; the second is to back the higher priced one, if over 10/1, each way. Both have been very profitable.
